SHAW John Reay -1931 & Charlotte Louise VAN RYNEVELD 1855-1936
John SHAW born in the seminary at Salem 1853 died at Stutterheim 1931. He was the grandson of the Rev. Barnabas SHAW the founder of Methodism in this country, who landed at Cape Town in 1816. And his devoted wife Charlotte Louise SHAW born at Graaff Reinet 1855 died at Stutterheim 1936. Faithful followers of Jesus Christ, they worshipped in this church. Rest in the Lord.
