eGGSA Graves - Eastern Cape

Cemetery information:- We visited the Sandflats B&B which had in the late 1800 been run by the Bruton family. The B&B is located on what was the farm owned and run by the family. Whilst discussing the history with the now Owners mention was made of a grave of a young girl located behind the B&B. We asked to see it and unfortunately it was overgrown with what can only be described as a plant with daggers. We endeavoured to cut away as much as possible so as to expose the headstone. Katie Bruton wife of Charles Matteus Bruton, interesting that she was one of the Chalmers family I was looking for.
