Born at Hay, South Wales
and sixteen years laboured as Missionary among the K****r tribes, who through the mysterious dispensation of providence was permitted to fall by the hands of marauding K****rs at Cambele near Umtata on June (?) 1856
and his beloved wife Anne Grace THOMAS
(Date indistinguisable but year seem to be 1846)
