LOUW Braam 1966-1988
Abraham Louw, 26 Mar 1966 - 10 Dec 1988. Buried 14 Dec 1988.
On the 10 th December 1988 Braam Louw died when he tried to save Mr Martin Hyde from the Loch Logan Dam in Bloemfontein. At that stage Braam was a Corporal in Tempe, South African Army in Bloemfontein. He received "The Woltemade Cross for Bravery " (posthumously). The award was recieved by his mother, Hannetjie Louw.
