Additional information from Andre Martinaglia: I would just like to inform you for your official records, that the date of birth on my grandfather 's gravestone is incorrect. His family must have some way or other got mixed up. The 1856 date of birth, is that of his brother that died shortly after birth. His correct date of birth in 6.9.1857 in Issiglio, Piedmont Region, ITALY.I have a copy of his baptism/birth certificate , which I obtained from the Roman Catholic Library in Ivrea, Piedmont, which is certified and now in the possession of my cousin Engela Spalleck (Martinaglia) GSSA Vaaldriehoek.
