These Boer fighters were killed in action at Belfast on 8 January 1901 and buried by the troops of the 1st Battalion, Gordon Highlanders. It is uncertain if the grave still exists or if they have been reinterred elsewhere. The location of the grave is unknown. Information received from Robert Thomas, IWM, London, UK: Unfortunately I could not find any information on the location. I did find that it is likely that that incident in which they were killed was probably a Boer attack on where the Gordon Highlanders were garrisoned at Belfast in early January 1901. If you can find the location of where they were garrisoned perhaps you may find the grave. Album completeness unknown. eGGSA captions by: Riana le Roux The GGSA Cemetery DVD only has information on the cemetery location.
