Cemetery information:-
The cemetery is on the farm Schoone Oord on the eastern side of the Perdeberg Mountain.
Perdeberg is located just to the north of Paarl and Paarl Mountain. Apart from a few fallen headstones, the graveyard is well-kept.
All gravestones in the cemetary as on 15 Apr 2007, were recorded.

STEYN Rachel Maria nee EKSTEEN 1895-1977 :: EKSTEEN unbaptised 1895-1895
Jan and Bettie EKSTEEN from a nearby farm Knollefontein were the parents of the twins of whom one died at infancy.
The surviving twin, Rachel Maria STEYN was married to Dr Colin STEYN, the only son of the Premier of the Free State, MT STEYN. Rachel was also the principal of the Meisieskool Oranje at Bloemfontein (Girls School) for 10 years.
