Zambia, Copperbelt, NDOLA district, Bwana Mkubwa Mine Cemetery
Cemetery information:-
Bwana Mkubwa was the first copper mine to be established on the now Zambian Copperbelt.
After World War 2, a small Polish refugee camp was established there, and this explains the presence of Polish graves.
The cemetery is located in the general area to the south east of the old Open Pit; the location is shown on the mine Survey Plan E/F/15C.
